Job summary

Redbourn Primary School in Greater London is seeking an EYFS and SEN Learning Support Assistant (H5). Applicants must hold EYFS Level 3 (or equivalent) and be willing to undertake paediatric first aid training.

Roles available: morning (7.45am-1.00pm) or afternoon (12.00pm-6.00pm), with part‑time options for 2 or 3 days per week. You will mainly work 1:1 with a pupil with complex needs and assist in small groups, supporting personalised learning and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must hold EYFS Level 3 or equivalent suitable for working with nursery-aged children.
• Willing to undertake paediatric first aid training.

Responsibilities

• Support EYFS children in Morning Club (7.45am-8.30am) and After School Club (3.15pm-6.00pm).
• Work 1:1 with a pupil who has complex additional needs, with occasional general classroom support or small-group work.
• Provide tailored support and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
• Build positive and inclusive relationships with children.
• Implement personalised learning programmes.
• Provide personal care to support a child's wellbeing.
• Gather and share information with the class teacher and SENCO.
