Job summary

Grange School in Manchester is recruiting a Teaching Assistant Level 4 with an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) specialism to join our dedicated team. This is a permanent, full-time role working 35 hours per week during term time plus 5 INSET days, with a starting salary of £29,448 (Grade 6).

You will support children with SEND in EYFS, lead targeted activities, collaborate with teachers and families, and help pupils develop communication, social and learning skills to prepare them for Key

Qualifications

Holds a Level 4 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Early Years, SEND, or equivalent.
Experience supporting children with SEND in an Early Years or primary setting.
Strong understanding of child development and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist support for children with SEND within the Early Years setting.
Work closely with teachers, SEND professionals, therapists, and parents to ensure interventions and support.
Plan, deliver, and evaluate targeted learning activities and interventions.
Support the development of communication, social, emotional, sensory, and physical skills.
Act as a key person for identified pupils, contributing to assessments, reviews, and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Promote children's independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
Create positive, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences that meet individual needs.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to pupil progress monitoring.
