Reception SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Reception SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly school team.

Key Requirements:

• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with complex needs.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification or experience is essential.
• Knowledge and experience of working with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) is highly desirable.
• Ability to provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity.
• Strong communication skills and a nurturing approach to supporting young children.

Role Details:

• Supporting a Reception-aged child/children with additional needs.
• Implementing strategies and targets outlined in EHCPs.
• Assisting with personal care requirements.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals.
• Helping create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Working Pattern:

• 5 days per week (5 DPW).
• Term-time only.
