Job summary

Desian Education in Winsford is recruiting an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role starting in September. You will support the Reception class teacher with engaging learning experiences, 1:1 and small-group support, and phonics sessions using Read Write Inc.

Qualifications

• Experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant with a passion for early years learning.
• Ability to deliver engaging, creative EYFS activities and adapt to individual needs.
• Experience providing 1:1 and small-group support in a primary setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Reception class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS learning experiences.
• Provide high-quality 1:1 and small-group support, adapting activities to individual needs.
• Deliver guided phonics sessions using Read Write Inc. programme.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
• Support pupils to develop confidence, independence and social skills.
