Job summary

Teach Now in Enfield is recruiting an Early Years Teacher to join a supportive primary school. The role focuses on inclusive practice in Reception, developing communication, independence and readiness for school, with pupils including those needing extra support.

You will have classroom support, work with the SENCO and EYFS staff, plan from children's interests, deliver high-quality phonics, monitor progress and build strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

  • QTS with EYFS experience and a strong understanding of inclusive practice.
  • Experience delivering high-quality phonics and early literacy in Reception.
  • Excellent safeguarding awareness and ability to work with SEND pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Create an engaging and accessible Reception environment.
  • Plan from children's interests while meeting curriculum expectations.
  • Deliver high-quality early phonics and literacy teaching.
  • Monitor children's progress through meaningful observation.
  • Support pupils with SEND and adapt provision accordingly.
  • Build strong relationships with families.
  • Work with support staff and external professionals as needed.
