Job summary

Smile Education Recruitment partners with a local school in Staffordshire to recruit an EYFS Class Teacher (Reception) with RWI Phonics experience. The role is full-time with ASAP or September start and potential to extend; location Shenstone, Lichfield, Staffordshire.

You will plan and deliver lessons, promote early literacy with RWI, assess progress, and collaborate with colleagues and parents while ensuring safeguarding through DBS checks and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• QTS and experience teaching in Reception or Early Years.
• Proficiency in implementing RWI Phonics program to support early literacy development.
• UK references spanning 24 months of teaching experience.
• DBS update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid right to work in the UK.

EYFS Class Teacher

Location: Shenstone, Lichfield, Staffordshire WS14

Salary: 150- 220 per day

We are working with a local school who are on the lookout for an experienced Reception class teacher with RWI phonics experience. The role will be full-time ASAP start or September start with an opportunity to extend!

The role:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Reception students, focusing on early literacy development using RWI (Read Write Inc.) Phonics program.


• Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and independent learning.


• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs, ensuring all children reach their full potential.


• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being.

Requirements:

• QTS and experience teaching in Reception or Early Years.


• Proficiency in implementing RWI Phonics program to support early literacy development.


• 24 months worth of teaching references in the UK


• a DBS registered to the update service or willingness to obtain one


• Valid right to work in the UK documents
