Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Reception Teaching Assistant for a long-term role at a Wigan primary school starting September. The position offers a daily rate of £94 and is ideal for an EYFS specialist.

You will support the Class Teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum, lead small group Phonics sessions (Read Write Inc. or similar), and monitor early literacy and numeracy development. The school supports staff wellbeing and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Proven experience in EYFS or Nursery.
• Deep understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Patient, creative and energetic approach to learning.
