Job summary

Teach Now is seeking a creative and nurturing Early Years Teacher to join a diverse primary school in Harrow.

The role focuses on the Reception year, delivering structured teaching, play and exploration to support confidence and a love of learning. You will collaborate with a supportive EYFS team, plan an engaging EYFS curriculum, develop early reading, phonics and number skills, and maintain strong communication with parents. QTS and EYFS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• QTS holders with EYFS experience.
• Strong EYFS statutory framework knowledge.
• Experience teaching in Reception or Early Years.
• Good knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver an engaging EYFS curriculum.
• Develop children’s early reading, phonics and number skills.
• Create purposeful continuous provision.
• Observe and assess children’s progress accurately.
• Identify children who may require additional support.
• Maintain close communication with parents and carers.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider EYFS team.
