Job summary

An excellent new opportunity has arisen for a committed EYFS Practitioner to work in a leading preparatory school in Birmingham, West Midlands. The role offers a permanent full-time contract (37.5 hours per week) with a salary up to £27,358.50 per annum, paid monthly.

Applicants must hold a Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification or equivalent plus Paediatric First Aid. The school provides a supportive environment with generous benefits including a pension, lunch and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering Early Years education.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework.
• Experience in similar settings and voluntary work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive, nurturing environment for children aged 4–11.
• Deliver engaging activities to spark curiosity and development.
• Observe and share achievements, contributing to learning journeys.
• Prepare stimulating displays and manage learning materials.
• Support nursery routines, staffing ratios, lunchtime and after-school care.
• Engage families as partners in each child's learning journey.
• Promote equality, diversity and inclusion across the setting.
