Prospero Teaching is looking for a Level 3 qualified EYFS practitioner to support learning in a Morpeth nursery/primary setting on a full-time basis. You will support pupils with varied SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and PMLD, and deliver intervention sessions to boost understanding and progress.

You will work closely with Class Teachers to tailor approaches to individual needs, develop different learning styles, and support across the school at breaktimes and lunchtimes as required.

Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Level 3 qualified EYFS practitioner to support the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational Nursery/ Primary Schools in Morpeth on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their lives, progress and development.

About the Role:

The role will involve supporting pupils with varied SEN and challenging behaviour on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The different types of SEN that pupils have may include ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and PMLD.

The role will also involve delivering intervention sessions to small groups of pupils to boost their understanding and progress

A key part of the role will be to develop an understanding of the different needs and learning styles of different pupils within the classroom, working closely alongside Class Teachers and colleagues to establish this.

The role will also involve supporting across the School at breaktimes and lunchtimes as required.

The role is based in an inspirational Primary School in Morpeth.

There are opportunities to support children from 2-5 years old.

The School has an outstanding supportive culture and Leadership Team, where staff work as a Team within classrooms to provide high standards of support to pupils.

Pay, Hours and Contract:

• Pay - Between £88-110 per day
• Hours - 08.30-15.30
• Contract - Full-time until the end of the Academic Year in July 2027. Temporary Contract.
• Start Date - 2nd November
• Location - Morpeth

Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare-based Qualification (desired)
• Experience of working with Children in Schools in the UK
• An ability to build positive relationships and a rapport with pupils and staff.
• A resilient, proactive, and positive nature
• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references that cover the last two years
