Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Level 3 qualified EYFS practitioner to support learning in a Morpeth nursery/primary setting on a full-time basis. You will support pupils with varied SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and PMLD, and deliver intervention sessions to boost understanding and progress.

You will work closely with Class Teachers to tailor approaches to individual needs, develop different learning styles, and support across the school at breaktimes and lunchtimes as required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD) in UK schools.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Proactive, resilient and able to work in a busy school environment.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Deliver intervention sessions to boost understanding and progress.
• Develop understanding of diverse needs and learning styles with Class Teachers.
• Support across the School at breaktimes and lunchtimes as required.
