The Graduate Network is seeking an EYFS Graduate Teaching Assistant in the UK to support children aged 3-5 with small group activities in phonics, numbers and communication. You will work closely with the class teacher to foster a calm and structured learning environment.
Applicants should have a degree (2:2 or above) in any subject and possess clear and confident communication. An Enhanced DBS certificate is required or willingness to obtain one.

As an EYFS Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll support children aged 3-5 as they begin their school journey. Working closely with the class teacher, you’ll deliver small group activities focused on early phonics, number work, and communication skills. You’ll also help create a calm, structured environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and confidence.
You should hold a degree in any subject and have a genuine interest in early childhood education. Patience, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills are essential. Previous experience working with young children-whether in a nursery, school, or volunteer setting-will be an advantage.
