KPI Education in Southwark, South London, is seeking an ambitious Early Years Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school on a full-time, one-year fixed-term contract starting September 2026. You’ll support Nursery and Reception learners and work with experienced staff to develop early literacy and numeracy.

Qualifications

The Role

Essential Requirements

• A First-Class Honours Degree or 2:1 Degree from a recognised university.

• Strong GCSE results (A*-C / Grade 4 and above).

• Good A-Level results.

• A genuine passion for working with young children.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A positive, patient, and nurturing approach.

Highly Desirable

• Experience working within a Nursery, Reception, or other Early Years setting.

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

• Experience supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities.

Alternative Qualifications Considered

The school is also keen to hear from candidates holding a CACHE Level 3 qualification who have relevant Early Years experience and are looking to continue developing their career within education.
