Job summary

Boots Opticians is recruiting a Retail Assistant to act as the first and last point of contact for customers in-store. You will greet customers, understand their needs and guide them to the right eyewear solution while supporting eye-tests and pre-screening activities.

The role offers exposure to Boots Opticians’ industry-leading training programme and opportunities to develop skills through hands-on experience on the shop floor. A strong customer focus and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care and helping customers.
• Desire to learn and develop skills.
• Experience in retail or clinical settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses.
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Providing aftercare through repairs and adjustments.
• Completing dispensing prescriptions admin tasks.
• Maintaining shop floor standards.
