Job summary

Boots Opticians in Worcester is seeking a Retail Assistant to be the first and last face customers meet on the shop floor. You will greet customers, listen to their needs, and help them choose eyewear and services.

You will support pre-screening activities and eye tests, gaining hands-on experience through our Step Into Optics training programme. Based in store, you will work with the store team to maintain high standards, process orders and repairs, and deliver excellent aftercare.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Desire to learn.
• Worked in a retail or clinical environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses.
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintaining shop floor standards.
