Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a Retail Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers on the shop floor. You will greet customers, listen to their needs and help them find eyewear solutions, from frames to aftercare.

You will support with pre-screening activities for eye tests, contribute to dispensing, repairs, and keep store standards. Full training through the Step Into Optics program includes hands-on experience and workshop learning.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Desire to learn.
• Worked in a retail or clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
• Maintaining shop floor standards
