Job summary

Boots Opticians in Marlow is seeking a friendly Retail Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers on the shopfloor. You will greet customers, listen to their needs and help them find eyeglasses or contact lenses, contributing to a memorable in-store experience.

You will learn through the Step Into Optics training, develop product knowledge, and support with dispensing, eye-tests pre-screening, and aftercare.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and assisting with eyewear selection.
• Supporting pre-screening activities and eye-care services.
• Providing aftercare support and handling administrative tasks.
• Maintaining shop floor standards and shelving.
