Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a Retail Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers on the shop floor. You will listen to needs, help customers find eyewear solutions, greet arrivals, and support pre-screening activities for eye-tests, delivering friendly, knowledgeable service.

Based in store, you will report to the store manager and have opportunities to grow through our Step Into Optics training programme, with both on-the-job learning and workshop sessions to build

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care
• Desire to learn
• Worked in a retail or clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
• Maintaining shop floor standards
