Job summary

Newmedica in Oxfordshire is seeking a Receptionist to join our on-site team. You will welcome patients, check them in for clinics or theatre visits, and support a busy front desk with a friendly, professional manner.

You'll manage bookings, answer calls and emails, and handle post and enquiries across multiple systems. The role requires accuracy, empathy with patients, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Educated to A level standard or equivalent.
• GCSE Maths and English.
• Excellent customer service and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and check them in for clinics or theatre visits.
• Book appointments and manage the patient schedule.
• Answer calls, reply to emails and handle enquiries.
• Manage post and outgoing letters, ensuring accuracy.
• Use multiple systems with a high attention to detail.
