Job summary

Radis Community Care are seeking a Full Time Team Leader to join our Extra Care team in Exning, Newmarket. The role combines care delivery with administration, totaling 37.5 hours per week across shifts and office hours.

You will oversee care packages, support both residents and staff, and lead the team with a focus on dignity, choice and respect in every care interaction. DBS check is required and a driving license is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Team Leader is desirable but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent; Level 3 progress encouraged.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Driving licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for care packages, offering supervision, support, and guidance to Radis Staff through regular meetings and check-ins.
• Schedule and allocate care tasks, ensuring that care plans—including personal care and medication—are followed accurately in a manner specific to the People we support
• Support people directly with personal care, medication, and community-based activities when needed.
• Take part in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover for care-related support as required.
