Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a Team Leader to join our team at Weavers Court, Diss, on a full-time, six-month fixed-term contract. The role oversees care packages, supports residents and Radis staff, and requires leadership, flexibility, and a commitment to dignity and respect in care delivery.

You will supervise staff, allocate tasks, and ensure personal care and medication are delivered safely. An enhanced DBS check is required, and a driving licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, working towards Level 3.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn to meet residents' needs and expectations.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Driving licence with access to a vehicle is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for care packages, providing supervision and guidance to staff.
• Schedule and allocate care tasks, ensuring care plans and medications are followed accurately.
• Support residents directly with personal care, medications, and community activities as needed.
• Participate in on-call rota and provide emergency cover when required.
