Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking an Extra Care Team Leader for our site at Weston Super Mare. You will supervise Support Workers, coordinate care schedules, and provide direct assistance with daily living activities to people living in their own homes within the extra care complex.

You will also build strong relationships within the community, ensuring person-centred care and a supportive environment. A driving license and DBS check are advantageous for occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a care team and supervising Support Workers.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards Level 3.
• Enhanced DBS check (required).

Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based at Diamond Batch, Weston Super Mare, BS24 7FY About the Role As a Team Leader in our Extra Care Service, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality support to people living independently within their own homes in the extra care complex. Our approach emphasizes understanding and responding to the unique needs of each individual, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring their well-being. You will be the first point of contact for the care and support provided, with responsibilities including:

• Conducting supervisions, team meetings, and mentoring Support Workers to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Coordinating schedules and allocating tasks to maintain personalized support plans for each person.
• Supporting people with daily living activities such as medication, mobility, and personal care when needed.
• Building positive relationships within the extra care community.
