Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking an Extra Care Team Leader for our site at Weston Super Mare. You will supervise Support Workers, coordinate care schedules, and provide direct assistance with daily living activities to people living in their own homes within the extra care complex.

You will also build strong relationships within the community, ensuring person-centred care and a supportive environment. A driving license and DBS check are advantageous for occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a care team and supervising Support Workers.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards Level 3.
• Enhanced DBS check (required).

Responsibilities

• Conducting supervisions, team meetings, and mentoring Support Workers.
• Coordinating schedules and allocating tasks to support personalized plans.
• Supporting people with daily living activities, including medication and mobility when needed.
• Building positive relationships within the extra care community.
