About this Role

The successful candidate will have following experience

• Experience in trailer planning or road freight logistics (preferably in an export environment)
• Strong geographical knowledge of the UK and European road networks
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• IT proficiency including planning systems and Microsoft Office
• A keen eye for detail and a focus on compliance and customer service

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule trailer movements for export shipments across the UK and Europe
• Coordinate with hauliers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure timely collections and deliveries
• Monitor trailer availability and turnaround times to maximise fleet utilisation
• Manage export bookings, assign loads to trailers, and track progress using in-house systems
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, customer requirements, and company standards
• Resolve planning issues or delays efficiently, keeping all parties updated
• Liaise with customers and provide status updates on trailer movements
• Maintain accurate records and support KPI tracking
