Brief Description

Join Our Team as a Section Planner!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Section Planner to join our team in a role that is crucial to our success.

What is a Section Planner? A Section Planner develops detailed work plans for specific project sections, ensuring all tasks are efficiently planned and executed. You'll use our planning processes, systems, and databases to create fully resourced and optimised work plans, which will be reviewed and approved by our Section Managers. Additionally, you'll coordinate resources and manage work schedules to keep everything on track.

About The Role (External)

As a Section Planner, your role and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning and optimising all agreed work activities for the section.
  • Accurately updating systems, databases, and records as required.
  • Producing Safe System of Work plans.
  • Submitting green zone access and isolation requests.
  • Creating draft quarterly plans.
  • Managing weekly Plan-Do-Review meetings.
  • Representing Section Managers at planning meetings.
  • Collating and maintaining infrastructure maintenance records.


These tasks are essential to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our projects.

Are you?

  • Skilled in work plan production and resource optimisation.
  • Experienced with scheduling profiles in work planning/scheduling systems.
  • Knowledgeable about access and possession processes and systems.
  • Familiar with the Safe System of Work Planning Process and System.
  • Possessing good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.


Do you have?

  • Knowledge of maintenance delivery processes and techniques
