Position Overview

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Town Planner / Planning Consultant to join a recently established and growing planning team. This role will allow you to develop your skills and career while working on a variety of planning projects. You will support the team in managing a diverse portfolio within rural, residential, and commercial sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career planner to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to senior team members on planning projects, ensuring high service levels for clients.
  2. Assist in preparing planning applications, reports, and technical documents.
  3. Conduct research, site appraisals, and planning policy reviews to inform projects.
  4. Contribute to client meetings and help manage ongoing project progress.
  5. Coordinate planning applications across sectors, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
  6. Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and quality work delivery.

Person Specification:
