Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting an Export Shipping Coordinator for a leading international organisation serving Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The role is based in Loughborough on-site with a 12-month FTC, focusing on export shipping and documentation.

You will manage documentation, compliance, and customer inquiries while coordinating with the Export Sales Team to ensure timely shipments and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in export shipping or export administration.
• Understanding of international shipping processes.
• Knowledge of IATA and IMDG regulations.
• Experience with customs procedures and export compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines under pressure.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipping activities for customers across EEMEA.
• Prepare, check and maintain export documentation for international shipments.
• Manage shipping administration, filing and record-keeping.
• Respond to customer enquiries about shipping and delivery.
• Resolve complex shipping issues with internal teams.
• Ensure customs and regulatory compliance for shipments.
• Apply IATA and IMDG knowledge where applicable.
• Support due diligence and internal compliance requirements.
• Work with Export Sales Team to provide administrative and shipping support.
• Prioritize tasks to meet shipment deadlines and maintain accuracy.
• Suggest process improvements to reduce costs.
