Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is seeking an Export Shipping Coordinator in Loughborough to support the Export Customer Service Team. You will prepare documentation for worldwide shipments and manage timelines while handling inquiries from customers in a shipping capacity across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Export Shipping Coordinator Location: Loughborough Pay Rate: £14.92 per hour Shift Pattern: No shift, Mon-Fri; flexible times (8-16:00/9-17:00) 12 month Contract

This position is in the Export Customer Service Team based on our clients site in Loughborough. We supply our customers across Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa with a huge range of scientific products and services. Day to day responsibility for export customers for allocated areas, duties including preparing documentation for shipments worldwide, filing and general shipping administration, meeting of deadlines for shipments and general resolution of customer enquiries, both verbal & written from a shipping perspective; handling of TPM and due diligence of customers

We are looking for someone who:

• Working alongside Export sales team to provide exceptional shipping & administration support, for customers in the EEMEA region. Handling and responding to all types of Shipping and administration issues - shipping documentation, hazardous paperwork and general enquiries which can be complex in nature, whilst aspiring to exceed Individual/Departmental/Company critical metrics and thoughtfully balancing the customer needs with business demands.


• Rigorously adhering to customs & export compliance regulations.


• Handling TPM and adherence to current due diligence requirements


• Highly skilled in promoting a positive corporate reputation. Maintains composure even when faced with the most difficult or challenging situations and has the ability to navigate through organizational boundaries

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria

• History of export shipping skills within an export environment


• Strong self-motivation with open and clear communication skills, both written & verbal


• Experience in organising and prioritising workloads

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Solid understanding of IATA/IMDG regulations and appropriate qualification


• Experienced at working in a pressured environment


• Minimum 2 A - levels or equivalent (in a Science subject and English - desirable but not crucial)


• Intermediate level experience in Microsoft word/Excel
