Job summary

HR GO Recruitment in Tilbury, Essex, is seeking an Exports Logistics Executive to join a busy team. The role covers exports operations, including airfreight and seafreight, and requires handling export documentation and customs entries.

You’ll interact with customers, carriers and warehouses, and ensure deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ export experience, strong English/ Maths, and solid MS Word/Outlook/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience minimum in export operations, on both airfreight and seafreight.
• Experience completing export documentation, including checking country requirements, and raising Certificates of origin if required.
• Experience in completing customs declarations.
• Experience of CNS and Destin8. or multi-freight.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and friendly personality.
• Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Strong and dynamic team player.
• Excellent English and Maths skills.
• Completing EXPORT entries is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with customers, hauliers and carriers.
• Arranging bookings with lines and carriers.
• Arranging collections making sure to meet vessel/ flight deadlines.
• Completing customs entries.
• Raising export documentation and manifests.
• Checking with warehouses that screening and check weighing have been completed.
• Finalising all documentation
• Checking vessels/flights have been met.
• Invoicing, liaising with and sending pre alerts to overseas agents.
• Following up after delivery to ensure the customer was happy and find out anything else that we could look after for them.
• Min GCSE or equivalent qualifications A-C (4-9) in core subjects.

Exports Logistics Executive

We are now looking for a proactive Exports Logistics Executive with experience of (or the ability to learn) all modes of transport to enhance our busy team.

Keen to speak to candidates that have experience working for a small to medium sized freight forwarder. Knowledge and experience of both deep sea and air fright exports is essential as this makes up a majority of the day to day workload.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00hrs

Salary: Depending on experience
