DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring a Customer Service Agent – Export Operator in Immingham. You will manage export shipments and customer service for general and key account customers, ensuring bookings align with instructions and schedules.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams across the UK and abroad.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Attention to detail with a positive outlook.
• Previous experience within freight/transport would be advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers to fulfil traffic requirements per booking instructions.
• Receive bookings from UK exporters via online platform or email.
• Contact UK places to book in collections.
• Instruct UK Warehouse and Distribution teams for loading/offloading cargo via Transport Management System.
• Liaise with other DSV offices to report discrepancies or special requirements.
• Ensure legislative compliance and adherence to procedures and safety standards.
• Perform general administration including invoicing, filing, queries, and POD handling.
• Communicate with internal and external customers, suppliers, and offices as required.

Customer Service Agent – Export Operator

Immingham

Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00 or 08:00 – 16:00

The successful candidate will be dealing withExportshipments andExportcustomer services, for general accounts and larger key account customers.

What will you be doing?

• Communicate effectively in a professional manner with customers to ensure their traffic requirements are fulfilled in line with their booking instructions.
• Receive bookings from UKExporters either via our online booking platform or by e-mail
• Contact UK places to book incollections.
• Instructing UK Warehouse and Distribution teams for loading/offloading of cargo to vehicles using our Transport Management System.
• Liaise with other DSV offices in the UK and abroad, reporting any discrepancies or specific requirements.
• Ensure legislative compliance in all areas.
• Ensure that the companyoperateswithin all agreed operational procedures, and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment.
• Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g.invoicing,filing, queries, claims, POD handling
• Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external customers, suppliers, and other offices, as required by operational procedures.

About You

• Previous experience within freight/transport would be advantageous
• Self-driven, good attention to details with a positive outlook
• Excellent customer services skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficient in the use of MS Office
