Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group in Sheffield is seeking an Export Manager to own customer accounts across UK and international markets, combining account management, business development and commercial ownership.

You'll manage opportunities from enquiry through to quotation and project handover, liaising with customers, agents and internal teams, while representing the business at events and meetings to grow the market presence.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing commercial experience in account management or sales roles.
• Experience producing and managing quotations, proposals and tenders.
• Proven ability to develop customer relationships and manage opportunities from enquiry to order.
• Exposure to export sales and international markets would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, agents and sales partners.
• Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities across domestic and international markets.
• Quotation & Tender Management: Prepare, manage and follow up quotations, proposals and tenders.
• Customer Engagement: Conduct customer meetings, site visits and presentations, understanding customer requirements and developing commercially viable solutions.
• Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate terms, agreements and commercial arrangements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, procurement and operations to support quotations and handover.
• Market Intelligence: Gather competitor, customer and market information to support sales strategy.
• Exhibitions & Events: Represent the business at trade shows and industry events.
