Our client is a global leader in the scrap material recycling industry and has been trading for close to 20 years and has established itself in a wide range of products, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, semi finished goods, waste paper, and plastics. Based close to Heathrow, they are seeking an experienced and Hindi speaking Export Documentation Assistant. The role will involve preparing and managing paperwork required for international shipments to ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations. Key responsibilities include creating commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, verifying bills of lading, and submitting customs declarations.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process various export documents, such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with current trade regulations and customs procedures.
  • Maintain and update records, including filing systems and digital archives.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (like sales and warehouse) and external partners (like shipping lines and customs).
  • Assist in processing export orders and managing order acknowledgements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shipping and documentation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
