Job summary

DSV is seeking a proactive Export Customer Services professional in the United Kingdom to handle export shipments and key account interactions. You will manage bookings from UK exporters, coordinate with UK sites for collections, and guide warehouse teams via the Transport Management System.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities, with experience in freight/transport being advantageous. Right-to-work checks will apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight/transport is advantageous.
• Ability to work accurately with bookings and administration.
• Willingness to undergo right-to-work checks and references as required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers to fulfil traffic requirements.
• Receive bookings from UK exporters via online platform or email.
• Contact UK sites to book collections.
• Instruct UK Warehouse/Distribution teams for loading/offloading cargo using our TMS.
• Liaise with DSV offices in the UK and abroad for discrepancies or special requirements.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and operating procedures.
• Perform general administration including invoicing, filing, queries, and POD handling.
• Communicate with internal/external customers, suppliers, and other offices as required.
