Job description
Overview

We are thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and globally recognised music producer, seeking a skilled and proactive Private Personal Assistant to join their tight-knit household and studio team in London. This is a rare opportunity to support an incredibly creative and fast-moving principal while also becoming a key figure in a genuinely warm and dynamic family environment.

The role is based primarily at the family’s beautiful home (approximately 70% of the time), with the remainder spent at the principal’s nearby music production studio. The family includes school-age children and their beloved dogs, and they lead an active lifestyle with regular travel and many last-minute changes. No two days are the same; therefore, adaptability, patience, and a can-do attitude are essential.

The ideal candidate will be a confident, unflappable and experienced all-rounder with a solid background supporting creative professionals and managing the fluid nature of very busy private households. You’ll need to be great with kids and dogs, maintain a high level of discretion, and bring professionalism, capability and charisma to this unique role.

This is a truly special opportunity to provide invaluable support to a highly respected individual and their family, where your efforts will be deeply appreciated and your presence genuinely valued.

The core hours are 9 am-6 pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to be available outside of these hours and on weekends for ad hoc babysitting, travel, or events. On offer is a competitive salary, private medical insurance, and the opportunity to join a deeply appreciative and down-to-earth family who are looking for someone to help bring calm and consistency to their vibrant and ever-changing lives.

Duties to include
  • Diary management and scheduling for the principal and family, including coordinating meetings and handling last-minute changes
  • Booking and managing travel for both business and family holidays, including creating itineraries and flying with the children when required
  • Household management and liaising with existing staff and contractors
  • Supporting the children’s extracurricular schedules, school arrangements, and activities
  • Studio-based support including meeting coordination, errands, and light administrative duties
  • Dog walking and general pet care as needed
  • Occasional babysitting and flexibility for out-of-hours support
  • Acting as the first point of contact and gatekeeper with absolute professionalism and discretion
  • Providing a calming, grounding presence in an otherwise fast-paced and creative environment
Essential criteria
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of Private PA experience in HNW or UHNW households
  • Strong childcare experience and a natural ease with children
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to own car
  • London-based
  • Experience working with or around creative principals, ideally in music or entertainment
  • Comfortable working across both home and studio environments
  • Discreet, organised, charismatic and capable under pressure
  • DBS-checked or willing to undergo one
  • Excellent verifiable references
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
