Job summary

Arriva in London seeks an Executive IT Site Engineer to be the face of IT support at the London Head Office, delivering hands-on support for workplace tech, end-user devices and collaboration tools to colleagues and visitors.

You will manage incidents via Ivanti, support Windows 11 and Microsoft 365, administer Active Directory/Entra ID, deploy devices with Intune, and work with senior stakeholders to continually improve service.

Qualifications

• Previous IT support experience within a corporate office environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting Windows 11 devices.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Active Directory and Entra ID administration experience.
• Experience deploying and supporting laptops and mobile devices using Intune.
• Experience supporting meeting room and collaboration technologies.
• Experience working with an IT Service Management (ITSM) platform.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Providing dedicated onsite IT support for colleagues, contractors and visitors based at Lacon House
• Acting as the primary IT presence within the building, delivering a professional and customer-focused service
• Delivering 2nd and 3rd line support across hardware, software, networking and workplace technologies
• Providing white-glove support to senior stakeholders and executive leadership teams where required
• Supporting meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, digital displays and collaboration technologies
• Managing incidents and service requests through our IT Service Management platform (Ivanti)
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues relating to laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, mobile devices and meeting room equipment
• Supporting Microsoft 365 applications and Windows 11 devices
• Administering user accounts and access requests within Active Directory and Entra ID
• Configuring, deploying and maintaining laptops, mobile devices and peripherals using Intune
• Coordinating with specialist technology teams to resolve escalated issues
• Maintaining accurate IT asset records and onsite stock levels
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge articles
• Supporting project activity affecting the Lacon House site
• Identifying opportunities to improve services and reduce recurring issues through proactive problem management
