Job summary

Chefs for Chefs Ltd in Skipton is recruiting an Executive Head Chef for an award-winning family-run hotel. The role oversees day-to-day kitchen operations, leads a large brigade, and drives seasonal menus using locally sourced ingredients.

You will work with the Chef director to deliver exceptional service across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and fine dining in a 110-cover restaurant, plus conferences and banqueting. A £35,000 salary with a bonus profit scheme is on offer.

Qualifications

• Proven track record at senior level for the past 2 years.
• Experience in hotel kitchen environments preferred.
• Ability to manage a large kitchen brigade and train junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef director with daily kitchen operations.
• Hands-on prep and service involvement.
• Maintain consistent quality across products.
• Lead and develop junior team members.
• Write seasonal menus, dishes, costings and specs.
• Ensure financial targets are met.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols.
