HtE Recruitment Limited is seeking a Head Chef for a hotel in the Skipton area. The role covers restaurant service and busy event/function work, with responsibilities to ensure food quality and kitchen efficiency for all events and daily operations.

You must have a hotel background, be capable of following function sheets, and manage a kitchen team. The position demands strong organisation and leadership, with 40–45 hours per week and a salary of around £45k plus tips.

Head Chef required for a hotel in the Skipton area, this hotel does lots of events etc, they have a restaurant and also function rooms which is a key business for them. Head chef required, £45k plus tips, 40 to 45hrs a week.

the role

As a head chef you will be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen, you will ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, the event function sheet prep lists are written for the chefs, ensure the food is to the required spec for the events etc and run the restaurant kitchen. this role will include all the standard head chef duties.

experience

we are looking for a head chef from a hotel background, you will be organised, able to work to function sheets and be able to keep the kitchen organised. you must have good organisation skills and be able to manage a team. you will either be a head chef at the moment or a sous chef ready to step up to head chef
