A typical day would see the kitchen brigade catering a busy service which spans over breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, fine dining in the 110-cover restaurant, they also have a strong conference and banqueting element to this establishment.
There is a large brigade in the team with the plan to take on an additional two roles due to a surge in trade. The kitchen is well equipped with quality industrial equipment and plenty of space to conduct daily preparation and service. With a strong emphasis on locally produced ingredients, with the long-standing head chef producing seasonally inspired menus using traditional cooking techniques.
The average working week is around 48 hours for a salary of £35,000 per annum plus a bonus profit scheme. The working week is 5 days over 7 working straight shifts with the very occasionally split depending on business.
