Job summary

A high-growth financial services organisation in England seeks an experienced Executive Assistant for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role requires providing high-level support to the CEO and executive team while managing complex schedules and travel. Qualifications

Executive Assistant – 6-Month Fixed Term Contract

London | Financial Services (Insurance preferred)

£60,000 (pro-rata)

A high-growth financial services organisation within the insurance sector is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant on a 6-month fixed-term contract to provide high-level support to the CEO, executive leadership team, and board members (including internationally based directors).

This is a critical role in a fast-paced, evolving environment, requiring strong judgement, discretion, and the ability to operate as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders.

Office presence is 75% during probation, reducing to 60% thereafter, agreed on a weekly schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive management of complex diaries, schedules, and international travel for senior executives and board members
  • Acting as a key liaison between executives, internal teams, and external stakeholders
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion
  • Supporting board and executive meetings, including preparation of papers, presentations, and correspondence
  • Coordinating events, off‑sites, and conferences
  • Supporting the onboarding of new board members and senior leaders
  • Managing expenses, invoices, and related administrative processes
  • Providing ad‑hoc executive and project support as required
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant supporting senior leadership
  • Background in Financial Services, with insurance / Lloyd’s / London Market experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced MS Office capability (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, changeable environment
  • Able to work independently while supporting a wider leadership team
