Job summary

Pearson VUE is hiring a Test Centre Administrator to join our Southgate team on a 3-month, part-time basis. The role pays £14.80 per hour, with a minimum of 8.25 hours per week, and requires availability Monday to Saturday including late nights.

You will support exam delivery in a secure, customer-focused environment, greet candidates, check IDs, proctor tests, and perform light housekeeping while ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• This position requires school qualifications in English and Maths.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) is an advantage.
• You should be a friendly and professional team player.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, greet and check-in customers/test-taking candidates.
• Comply with all exams testing security and procedures and follow company policies.
• Verify customer/candidate personal identification documents and explain the exam rules.
• Proctor / invigilate candidates while they are completing their exam.
• Troubleshoot with IT to fix technical issues in the Test Centre.
• Light housekeeping such as vacuuming and sanitizing keyboards/workstations.
