Job summary

West Midlands Safari Park is seeking an Event Sales Co-ordinator to manage enquiries, support sales processes and ensure excellent customer service for a range of events at Spring Grove House, Tree Tops Pavilion and The Cellarz.

You will work with the Venues and Marketing teams, bring energy to the role, and maintain a strong focus on HSE while coordinating bookings, quotations and payments in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience in the hospitality or events industry is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using booking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experience in sales administration or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under own initiative in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage all incoming enquiries related to venue bookings.
• Conduct follow-ups on enquiries to ensure customer satisfaction and facilitate sales.
• Raise or revise quotations based on client needs for various event types.
• Utilize our booking system to update critical business information accurately.
• Follow all internal processes for billing and payments to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
• Plan and host venue appointments, showcasing our facilities and services to potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure all third-party requirements are met.
• Collaborate with the marketing department on promotions and advertising campaigns to attract new clients.
• Assist with the running of events to ensure everything operates smoothly.
