Job summary

West Midland Safari Park is seeking an Admissions Supervisor to lead the Admissions team and ensure smooth daily operations across a 7-day week. The role includes handling inquiries, cash handling, and coordinating group bookings while promoting VIP Experiences and Annual Passes.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised with a strong customer focus, experience supervising others, and the ability to work flexibly including weekends and evenings.

• Experience working in a busy, high-volume customer environment.
• Proven ability to supervise and coordinate a team.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Admissions team to ensure smooth daily operations across a 7-day week.
• Answer incoming calls, handle enquiries and process bookings.
• Manage mini bus tour guides and cash handling, including group bookings.
• Promote VIP Experiences and Annual Passes at the VIP kiosk and drive sales.

West Midland Safari Park are currently recruiting for the position of Admissions Supervisor.

This exciting role covers a wide range of tasks including; daily organisation and management of the Admissions assistants to run a smooth and effective 7-day week function, receive incoming calls and deal with enquiries, management of mini bus tour guides, process transactions, respond to queries and service guests needs, handle guest complaints, cash handling and processing group bookings accordingly. This role also includes our VIP Experience kiosk, where you will be promoting and encouraging sales of VIP Experiences and Annual Passes including the benefits of membership.

About you

The ideal candidate will need to be highly organised with demonstrative skills, have a strong customer focus and have experience working in a high-volume customer environment, whilst supervising the work of others.

You will need to be flexible in your approach to work outside of standard business hours, including weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
