West Midland Safari Park in Worcestershire is seeking a Theme Park Operator to operate rides and attractions, advise guests on height restrictions and safety information, ensuring a safe, entertaining and memorable day out for all guests.

The ideal candidate will be flexible for shifts outside standard hours and committed to following safety procedures while delivering great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience operating rides is advantageous.
• Willingness to work weekends/evenings/bank holidays.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and assist guests.

Hours: Up to 37.5, dependent upon the needs of the business

West Midland Safari Park are currently recruiting for the position of Theme Park Operator.

This exciting role will include operating our rides and attractions, advising guests on height restrictions and safety information and to provide a safe, entertaining and memorable day out for all of our guests.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a \"can do\" attitude and will be willing to work hard to give our guests the best day possible. Ideally, we are looking for applicants who are highly motivated, can follow safety procedures and demonstrate reliability.

You will need to be flexible in your approach to work outside of standard business hours, including weekends, bank holidays and evenings.

What we are

West Midlands Safari Park is an award-winning visitor attraction, located in Worcestershire in the heart of England. It is home to some of the world’s most beautiful and critically endangered species, with a four-mile safari drive-through, walk-through Discovery Trail, African Village and Lemur Woods, as well beautiful walking trails, allowing guests to experience up close encounters with hundreds of amazing animals. Guests can also choose from a wide range of catering and retail outlets, as well enjoying a large amusement area with over 25 rides and attractions providing the ideal venue for family days out.

In 2021, the Park introduced Safari Lodges – luxury accommodation allowing guests to stay overnight for the first time. Guests can wake up to incredible sights of elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos and red pandas, or sleep just a ‘whisker’ away from lions, white lions, tigers and cheetahs.
