Job summary

Private Equity Insights, based in London, seeks an hands-on operator to own the end-to-end execution of ten European private equity conferences annually. You will oversee venues, suppliers, on-site teams, and attendee experience, driving a flawless program from planning through delivery.

You’ll work with an entrepreneurial team, travel with events overseas, and mentor a growing operations group as responsibilities expand. Training is provided, and a strong work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• No specific prior work experience required; training provided.
• UK work permit required.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of conferences, including venues, suppliers, on-site teams and attendee experience.
• Source, compare and select best suppliers; negotiate terms and contracts.
• Budget review and control; ensure changes are raised in advance where needed.
• Plan and coordinate event activities (VIP events, meals, after-hours) and venue logistics.
• Manage a 40-person volunteer team; train and supervise volunteers.
• Provide on-site support to ensure events run smoothly and to a high standard.
