Job summary

Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club is seeking an experienced Conference and Banqueting Supervisor to join our team in the heart of the countryside. This role supports the Conference & Banqueting Manager to maintain high standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and profitability across function spaces.

You will lead a team, develop product knowledge, and drive excellent service while representing the Elite Hotels brand with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for food, drinks and people.
• Excellent customer care skills and attention to detail.
• Supervisory experience within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
• Good time management and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of guest service.
• Develop outstanding Hotel product knowledge and be aware of the Hotel's competitive advantages.
• Exceed expectations and offer a personal and informative service to enhance guest enjoyment and maximise up-selling opportunities.
• In the absence of the Conference & Banqueting Manager or Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager to oversee Conference & Banqueting operations, ensuring highest standards of service.
• Be a professional ambassador for the hotel and the wider Elite group in all business relationships.
