Job summary

Education First at Ashridge House, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, is seeking a Conference and Banqueting Assistant to join our events team. The role involves serving food and drinks at weddings and corporate conferences, with full-time hours including evenings and weekends.

You will work under the Food & Beverage Director, delivering high standards of service, setup, and guest care in a historic venue. Applicants should be 18+, possess strong teamwork, and enjoy a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in banqueting/catering.

Job Title: Conference and Banqueting Assistant

Shifts: Full-time hours including evenings and weekends

Please note that applicants must be 18 or over due to the handling of alcohol.

Key Responsibilities

Engage warmly with guests, providing exceptional service

Candidate Profile

Enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive

Excellent communication skills and a team player

Previous experience in banqueting and/or catering is essential (Minimum of 3 years)

Professional and hygienic personal presentation.

Hold a full UK driving licence with your own vehicle to commute as we do not have public transport links
