Job summary

FIRST, a global brand experience agency, is seeking an Event Ambassador to be the friendly face of our event spaces. You will provide on-site client support, assist the Event Management team, and help ensure smooth event execution by addressing daily needs and issues.

You will liaise with catering, AV, security and room setup partners, assist with guest check-in, materials, and post-event tidying. This is an on-site, entry-level role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; experience in customer service, hospitality, or event support is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a visible and approachable point of contact for event hosts and attendees within assigned event spaces.
• Proactively offer assistance and support to clients with immediate requests and inquiries.
• Act as a runner on the floor, addressing last-minute needs from the Event Management team and clients.
• Liaise with service line partners (catering, AV, security, room setup) and vendors to fulfil requests.
• Troubleshoot basic on-site issues and escalate complex matters to the Event Management team.
• Assist with basic room setups and adjustments (moving tables, chairs, light equipment).
• Support the setup and distribution of event materials (signage, stationery, badges, giveaways).
• Help with light manual handling (up to 10kg/22lbs).
• Ensure event spaces are tidy and well-maintained.
• Provide wayfinding and answer general questions about the event and venue.
• Support guest registration and check-in processes as needed.
• Assist with post-event breakdown and tidying of spaces.
• Communicate effectively with the Event Management team about issues or observations.
