FIRST is a leading global brand experience agency delivering Content, Creative, Digital Technology, Management & Delivery, and Data & Insights services. The Event Technician role supports mid-level events with audio/visual, staging, lighting, and design, driving seamless technical experiences for attendees, press, and partners.

You’ll work with internal teams and external clients daily, operating a range of production equipment and coordinating on-site setups while maintaining a hi-tech

Qualifications

• 2–4 years or relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of audio visual tech including lighting, audio/video output, and power.
• Experience with Unilumen LED walls and WATCHOUT software is a plus.
• Proficient in the technical delivery of high-quality events.
• Fluent in English and able to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operate event production equipment such as Yamaha CL desks, ETC lighting consoles, Ross Carbonite switchers and PTZ controllers.
• Provide feedback to the Team Lead on equipment usage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Team Lead to suggest enhancements to FIRST’s production offering.
• Coordinate and support on-site staging and A/V setup.
• Maintain hi-tech conference venue through regular housekeeping and maintenance.
• Provide full event production support including slide decks, video playback, livestream coordination, and multi-camera operation.
• Perform basic video editing to deliver client event recordings.
• Troubleshoot with systems engineers and resolve incidents.
• Deliver white-glove customer service to clients and stakeholders.
