Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to ensure smooth bookings and build strong client relationships within a large corporate hotel. You will support event delivery, manage inquiries, and upsell services, with a Monday to Friday pattern and potential for permanent placement.

You will need proven event coordination experience, Delphi and Opera Cloud familiarity, excellent communication, and a proactive sales approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in events and strong focus on customer service.
• Previous experience in a similar Event Coordinator role.
• Delphi experience is essential.
• Experience using Opera Cloud.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.
• A proactive approach to sales and upselling.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high standard of customer service
• Handle enquiries and bookings by telephone and online
• Proactively convert enquiries into sales
• Process, amend and update bookings accurately
• Conduct show rounds for prospective clients
• Build lasting client relationships and encourage repeat business
• Maximise revenue through effective upselling
• Complete administration and confidently use technology
