Placements24 is seeking a proactive Event Catering Coordinator to manage and execute catering events in Randburg. You will bridge client needs with operations, coordinating logistics, liaising with clients and vendors, and overseeing timelines from concept to completion.

This contract role offers flexible hybrid work and the chance to deliver exceptional service across a wide range of events, while developing strong relationships in Gauteng's hospitality sector.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event coordination, catering management, or related hospitality.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client/vendor liaison.

Responsibilities

• Manage client communications from inquiry to post-event feedback.
• Develop detailed event plans including menus, staffing, and logistics.
• Coordinate with internal culinary teams and external suppliers for on-time delivery.
• Oversee on-site event execution, manage staff, and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain budgets, contracts, and client records.
